POSITIVE PRESSURIZATION TECHNOLOGY

Positive Pressurisation Technology

Gee Dee Industrial Solutions is a distributor for the world market leader in Positive Pressurisation Technology (PPT). These units can be used anywhere that dust ingress is a concern, including clean rooms, switch rooms, control rooms, laboratories, critical plant rooms, and workshops. PPT will assist in lowering your costs by protecting all sensitive areas of your process from contaminant gases and corrosive processes that cause premature failures, higher maintenance costs, and increased downtime. It is becoming clearer that these environments can lead to, arc flash accidents, safety hazards, health complications, and poor performance (human and equipment). Our range of room pressurisation units have been designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind. Our PPT units apply pressure using filtered air, which creates a slightly positive pressure in a room and prevents unfiltered air from entering the space through doors, windows, and other leakage gaps.

Pressurisation solutions for sustainable process protection

Our range of pressurisation units are simple and efficient, Gee Dee Industrial Solutions offers the right pressurisation system with the highest quality manufactured pressurisation filters to keep your air clean, making sure that your critical equipment runs troubleā€free, while delivering clean air for your employees.

Our systems comply with ISO23875. This is the standard for Air Quality Control Systems in operator enclosures including: all machinery; load-out enclosures; cabins and site offices, most of which are also subjected to the influx of coal dust and silica dust particulates.

Silicosis

This is a lung disease caused by inhalation of crystalline silica dust. When small silica dust particles are inhaled they can embed themselves deeply into the tiny alveolar sacs and ducts in the lung. The lungs cannot clear out the dust by mucous or coughing. Silica is the second most common element in the earth's crust (after oxygen), it is a mineral that is found in sand, rocks (granite, sandstone, gneiss and slate), mineral ores such as quartz, soil, mortar, plaster, clay, and shingles.
